Recognizing Workforce Excellence Online

Work Wonk has officially launched what will become an annual, published list of the best workforce development websites. Sites are judged against the following criteria:

• The site or blog should provide a service to the workforce development community.
• The site or blog should:
  
  1. offer a comprehensive overview of information and options for job-seekers and populations targeted for workforce interventions; or
  2. provide a broad range of information relevant to the national workforce development community; or
  3. offer a particularly strong focus on a specific workforce topic; or
  4. offer an outstanding example of the use of technology for workforce development, education and training.
• The site or blog should meet minimum basic expectations for design and professionalism.
• The site or blog should be available to the general public.
• The site or blog should be frequently updated and current.
